There’s an annoying bug in Google Reader that causes the unread article count to increment before you’re actually able to view the article.

Eg:

The problem first reared its ugly head a few months back, with it happening more frequently over the past week or so.

Is it just me, or is it annoying the hell out of anyone else too? 🙂
